Yesterday was another successful birthday party in the woods. The sun shone through the trees and the children were very eager to find the fairy house hidden away in the base of the magical tree, amongst the beautiful bluebells. We put an ear to the bluebells and heard the fairies whispering and then listened to the trees and heard their hearts beating and fairies scurrying inside. Looking up, we saw tiny fairies zipping and dancing through the trees to show us the way through the bluebell woodland to the enchanted tree where the magical fairy door could be found. There was also time to play on the swing and relax in the hammock. Make little fires to cook marshmallows, enjoy hot chocolate and sausages cooked over the fire. Make necklaces by sawing wooden discs and decorating. Not to mention exploring and playing a game. The time flew by with all the fun and games enjoyed by all and then it was time to wave goodbye to happy, smiling children who we hope will have memories of magical fairies and enchanted woodlands to treasure forever.
We hope to see you all again sometime on another woodland adventure.
