Position: Forest School Leader
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspiring level 3 qualified forest school leader to join our growing team at Woodland Wonders on a self employed basis. Initially the position will be to cover our Thursday morning parent and child group throughout the Summer term. There will also be the option of ad hoc dates and school holiday sessions available. We are happy to discuss your availability. We expect this position to become more permanent and grow with the company and your expectations. All equipment and insurance will be provided.
Job type: Freelance forest school leader, variable part time hours to grow with the company.
Rate of pay: Competitive and dependant on training, qualifications and session type and time.
Hours: Initially Thursday mornings
Essential requirements:
- Level 3 forest school leader qualified
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Outdoor first aid or other relevant first aid trained
- Safeguarding training
Desired requirements:
- Experience working with children
- Food hygiene
- Experience leading forest school sessions
- Experience of writing risk assessments, lesson plans and running forest school programmes in schools and for groups.
