Jennifer Keil

Forest School Founder
Brief info

In 2015 I trained as a level 3 qualified forest school leader through the Wildlife Trust and since training I have run a forest school for The Apuldram Centre, a day centre near Chichester which provides support, meaningful opportunities and life skills for adults with learning difficulties. I also currently work with The March Church of England Primary School, running their Year 1 forest school within the grounds of Goodwood Estate and occassionally as a freelance forest school leader with Goodwood Educational Trust and other forest school companies. I have many years working with children and adults. Originally art degree educated, I have been employed for twelve years as an art and craft instructor primarily with people with learning difficulties. I have also supported my son's school, volunteering on many an art project with the children to decorate the walls of the school! Experience also gained as a cubs volunteer, outdoor activities and general helper. I have a passion for nature and creativity and believe deeply in the holistic properties that the woods have to offer and think all children should have the chance to establish cherished life long memories and access to freely play, explore and create in outdoor environments, leading me to start my own company, something that I have been dreaming about for many a year! The creation of Woodland Wonders forest school, which I would not be able to do without my long enduring and amazing volunteer Jane Ellams.
