The Very Hungry Caterpillar Summer Parent and Child Session 18m-8yrs

31 July 2023

Age range: Parent/carer and child morning for ages 18m to 8 years. Parents and siblings aged under 18 months attend for free.

The fun to be had….?

There are lots of fun activities to do at The Very Hungry Caterpillar session with your grown ups. You can make a paper pot and sow a seed to take home and grow into a plant that the very hungry caterpillar and her friends would love to munch through, make a bead butterfly to play with and take home with you. Saw a piece of wood and thread things together to make your own very hungry caterpillar character and make a very hungry caterpillar crown!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar favourite thing to do is eating lots of different fruit and for our snack we will have lots of delicious fruit to make into fruit kebabs to munch through too.

There will also be time to explore the farm, meet and greet some of the animals that live there, play in our wooded area where you will find the swing, hammock and mud kitchen. It is also a very good place to search for bugs.

We will also toast marshmallows over our campfire and finish the session with the story.

Self service drinks are available for adults and children, please bring a cup with you and help yourself throughout the session.

Please contact us with any questions: woodlandwondersforestschool@gmail.com

Price: Child tickets £14.00 includes all craft items to take home and activities.

Children under 18 months attend for free when accompanied by a full paying child. Adults supervising children attend for free.
