Peter Rabbit & Easter Egg Hunt Parent & Child Session

Date and time: Sunday 2nd April, 9.30-11.30am

Location: HFT, Sussex Orchards, Freeman Close, Walberton

Age range: Parent/carer and child session for ages 18m to 8 years. Parents/carers and children aged under 18 months attend for free when accompanied by a paying sibling.

The fun to be had….? Peter Rabbit has been causing mayhem in our woods!! Whilst we have been planning our fun activities a very mischievous Peter rabbit has hidden our vegetable ingredients for our soup around the woodlands! Can you help us find them before he and his friends eat them all! Here are some of the fun activities on offer throughout our morning:

• Help prepare our vegetable ingredients for our campfire soup.
• Saw a piece of wood to make into a log bunny!
• Make an animal character mask.
• Enjoy a hot chocolate around the campfire
• Make a mud soup in our mud kitchen area
• Whittle a stick to toast a marshmallow over our fire

When you have finished making, why not spend some time exploring and playing in the woods, bug hunt, relax in the hammock, have a go on the rope swing or maybe build a den fit for a mischievous rabbit!!I am sure all this fun will be making you feel hungry, so whilst you listen to a Peter Rabbit story why not try some of the vegetable soup that has been cooking over our fire. Maybe your grown up would like to try some too! Our session would not be complete without an Easter Egg hunt in our Orchard, before its time to go home all worn out.

Price: £15.00 per child, includes all craft items to take home, drink, marshmallows, chocolate Easter Egg and cooking activity.Parents and children under 18 months attend for free when accompanied by a full paying child.
