Beat The Boredom – Woodland HAF Funded Christmas Holiday Sessions

Join us in the woodlands and beat the boredom at our forest school Christmas holiday club for adventurous kids.

Funded by the WSCC Holidays and Activities Grant we are able to offer a FREE holiday club for children who are eligible for income assessed free school meals. Children will also receive a freshly prepared and cooked lunch at every session.

Paid for places are also available for non eligible children

These are drop off sessions for children aged 5 to 11 yrs

Booking instructions: Places are limited and booking is essential

There will be……

  • Den building
  • Fire lighting
  • Games and challenges
  • Green Woodworking
  • Campfire cooking (snacks)
  • Story telling
  • Making assault courses
  • Tracking and trailing
  • Wild art and natural crafts
  • Dam and bridge building
  • And anything else we can think of!!!

Engaging young minds in a fun and enriching way through a variety of different wild activities.

Places are limited and booking is essential!

Price:

Funded places: Free for children who are eligible for income assessed free school meals

Non-funded places: £25.00 per child, includes a freshly prepared hot lunch.

Free places eligibility criteria:

  • You will need your child’s HAF FSM code to book your free place as issued by WSCC and found on your FSM eligibility letter
  • Children should be in receipt of income assessed free school meals
  • Be aged between 5 and 11yrs old
  • Live within West Sussex area or attend a school in West Sussex

The Site: We use a secure private woodlands with the Sussex Orchards site.

Facilities: There is onsite free parking, a composting toilet and the use of a cabin within the woodlands.
