Beat the Boredom – Forest school for adventurous kids!

Engaging young minds in a fun and enriching way through a variety of different wild learning activities at each session. We are really pleased to be running these sessions at our new site, The Wild Space within Graylingwell Park, Chichester, and also to be able to offer some free places for free school meal children with funding from WSCC HAF grant.

All children will receive a freshly cooked hot lunch, snacks and drink.

Age range: These are drop off sessions and are for children aged 5-11yrs

What we will be doing:

• Fun and engaging age appropriate activities
• Be involved in lunch preparation
• Learn about healthy food and healthy eating
• Different ways of fire lighting
• Wild science and problem solving challenges
• Green woodworking activities
• Team games
• Cook your own snacks over the campfire
• Story telling
• Tracking and trailing
• Discovery, Exploring and playing
• Wild art and natural crafts
• Be active and learn new skills
• Things to make to take home
• And anything else we can think of!!!

Price:

Paid Places: £28.00 per session, includes all activities, crafts, snacks, lunch and drink. (discount offered for all 4 days booked, please see booking information below)

Free Places: FREE for children in receipt of income assessed free school meals (FSM) with their HAF code. Please see eligibility criteria below. Free places are funded by the WSCC Holidays and Activities Grant (HAF). Food and drink provided.

Free places eligibility criteria:

• Children should be in receipt of income assessed free school meals
• Be aged between 5 and 11yrs old
• Live within West Sussex area or attend a school in West Sussex
• Have their HAF FSM code at time of booking
