Who is this for...?
A workshop for adults.
What to expect....?
We are holding two Christmas wreath making workshops this year, giving you the opportunity to spend an unhurried few hours learning how to make your very own traditional Christmas
wreath to adorn your door. You will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of traditional wreath making, from mossing the ring through to decorating your wreath to your desired taste, we will also
be giving you advise on looking after your wreath once at home to keep it looking in perfect condition throughout the festive period. There will also be complementary home made mince pies and mulled
wine to enjoy throughout the afternoon and get us in the Christmas spirit (a non alcoholic mulled wine will be available for the drivers). Places on our
wreath making workshops are limited to ensure we have enough time to spend helping people to create their perfect wreath.
There will also be an opportunity to purchase pre-made bespoke wreaths, plus wreath crosses on the day and orders can also be taken for these too.
About our wreaths....
Our wreaths are made on moss rings and are created from traditional natural foraged materials such as Holy, Ivy, Conifer, Pittosporum etc, decorated with dried fruits,
cones, berries, dried teasels and poppy heads etc. and finished with a choice of natural Hessian ribbon.
What to bring with you?
Please bring with you a fairly well fitting pair of gardening gloves or thick marigolds, if your gloves are too big it can be hard to feel your way around your moss ring. Holy is
prickly so gloves are an essential item to bring. Please also bring a pair of secateurs that you are familiar with using, everything else you will need to create your wreath will be supplied for
A Little About Your Wreath Teacher!
I have been making and
selling Christmas wreaths for many years for a charity and also train people who access the charity on how to make them. Wreath making is a fun and festive activity and I thought all should be given
the opportunity to learn to make their own wreaths.....So we welcome our Christmas making workshops...open to all who wish to have a go!!
£25.00 includes all materials to make your wreath, mulled wine, tea or coffee and mince pies.
We can also arrange private wreath making workshops for family and friends and we can run these at your home (if you have space available) or at our workshop site. There is a minimum
booking of 8 people for these workshops, £25.00 per person. If this is something that interests you, please contact us for further details.
Free parking is available
Toilets are also available on site.
This workshop will be run in the communal greenhouse.
Please contact us with any questions, we hope to see you there.
