Age range:

A drop off session for ages 5-12 years old. This session is for unaccompanied children.

 

What is Wild Tribe?...

A woodland day catered for children who love the outdoors, exploring, getting muddy, creating and learning survival skills!

 

We'll be....

  • Fire lighting with a flint and steel.

  • Den building

  • Use a peeler or knife to whittle sticks

  • Make campfire doughnuts to cook over our fire....mmm....these are delicious!!

And will you be brave enough to have a go on our mud slide?

 

Then....

  • Use hand tools to saw and chop wood for our fire

  • Climb trees, relax in the hammock and play on the tree swing

  • Exploring and playing games

  • Hot chocolate, toasting marshmallows too!!

 

What to bring and wear?

Your child will need a packed lunch and drink and wear appropriate outdoor clothes, long trousers and sleeves and sturdy footwear. Please also send them with waterproofs.

 

Price:

£25.00 per child, includes all materials to make items to take home, hot chocolate or cold drink, marshmallows and snack cooked the fire. (Price does not include Eventbrite fees)

FAQ's

Who are running the sessions and what are your ratio's?

We run our sessions to a high adult to child ratio, aiming for 1:5, by 2 forest school level 3 trained leaders, both outdoor first aid certified, plus our regular volunteers, ensuring your child has enough time to learn how the skills needed for each activity available and at a pace that is suited to their individual needs. All our volunteers and forest school leaders hold current and relevant DBS certificates. These can be produced on request.

Where is Seeley Copse?

Seeley Copse is a private copse owned by Goodwood Estates, designed for educational use and forest school experiences.

What are the facilities?

We have use of basic compost toilets, running water and hand washing facilities. There is also a large free car park for numerous vehicles.

My child has food allergies

If your child has food allergies, please let us know in advance so we can discuss your child's individual needs and that we can cater for them on the day.
