Little Wonders Farm Adventures Parent & Child Group

Six week programme, from the Wed 18th September until Wed 23rd October inclusive, for 2 hours between 9.30am - 11.30am.

Age range:

Children 18 months and 5 years. Parent/carer can attend with up to 2 siblings. Children under 18 months are free to attend with a paying sibling.

What To Expect:

Little Wonders farm adventures is a parent and child group introducing your child to nature and outdoor learning through play. Your child will experience life on a smallholding, meet and greet the animals, explore the farm and experience some forest school activities.

We love creating at Little Wonders and each week there will be a new creation to take home and treasure. We use a variety of natural foraged items and crafting materials to make imaginative seasonal creations, learn how to saw wood, use palm drills to make holes in wood and some fire lighting too. There will also be opportunities to go on a mini bug hunt, relax in the hammock, have a go on our nest swing, play in the mud kitchen and explore.

We will also have a camp fire, cook marshmallows and even have time to play, make new friends and have lots of fun! There will be cake and a cup of tea or coffee for the adults to enjoy whilst chatting to new friends around the campfire. This is a great opportunity for quality time with your child in a relaxing, natural and safe environment.

Block booking is required at £48.00 for first child and £35.00 for a sibling for the complete 6 week term.

A one off trial session is £10.00 this is then deducted from the block booking price if you wish to join for the rest of the term.

Who are running the sessions and what are your ratio's?

We run our sessions to a high adult to child ratio, normally 1:5 ratio and will be run by a first aid certified forest school level 3 trained leader, plus our regular volunteers. All our volunteers and forest school leaders hold current and relevant DBS certificates. These can be produced on request.
