What To Expect:
Little Wonders farm adventures is a parent and child group for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years, introducing your child to nature and outdoor learning through play. Your child will experience life on a smallholding, meet and greet the animals, explore the farm and experience some forest school activities.
We love creating at Little Wonders and each week there will be a new creation to take home and treasure. We use a variety of natural foraged items and crafting materials to make imaginative creations, in the past we have creating bead wands to blow bubbles through, learnt how to use a saw to cut a wooden disc to make a necklace or spinning top toy, used palm drills to make holes in wood to weave materials through and Autumn leaves to create animal sun catchers, plus lots more. There will also be opportunities to go on a mini bug hunt, swing in the hammock, play in the mud kitchen and explore. We will also have a camp fire, cook marshmallows and even have time to play, make new friends and have lots of fun! There will be cake and a cup of tea or coffee for the adults to enjoy whilst chatting to new friends around the campfire. This is a great opportunity for quality time with your child in a relaxing, natural and safe environment.
Block booking is required at £40.00 for first child and £35.00 for a sibling for the complete 5 week programme.
We offer a one off trial session for new attendees, please contact Jennifer at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details
Who are running the sessions and what are your ratio's?
We run our sessions to a high adult to child ratio, normally 1:5 ratio and will be run by a first aid certified forest school level 3 trained leader, plus our regular volunteers. All our volunteers and forest school leaders hold current and relevant DBS certificates. These can be produced on request.
