The fun to be had....?
Why not join us celebrating Fathers Day at our forest family morning, spend some quality outdoor time with your whole family, Grannies and Grandads can come too! Dads come for free...it's Fathers Day after all!!
We've created some fun activities for all the family to enjoy with dads in mind and we think everyone will really enjoy getting involved in the activities on offer, such as making bows and arrows, fire lighting, whittling sticks and making damper bread to cook over the fire.
There will also be some time to explore and play in the woods, relax in the hammock or have a go on the rope swing or maybe build a den together.
Of course our Fathers Day family morning will not be complete without enjoying some homemade vegetable soup, hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows and a slice of cake and coffee/tea. Snacks are available for all who attend to enjoy.
What to wear?
All participants are advised to wear appropriate outdoor clothes and outdoor footwear for woodland terrains, warm clothes and wet weather clothes if necessary.
