The fun to be had....?
"A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood"...... come with us on an adventure and discover the Gruffalo trail through the woods, find where the fox, owl, snake and mouse live, we may even find the Gruffalo's Den....will you be brave enough to take a look inside?
"You'll taste good on a slice of bread" said the Gruffalo.....Gruffalo tails taste good too! We'll use tools to whittle sticks and cook the tails over the fire to enjoy with jam or honey...yum...yum...and we won't leave the adults out, they'll be Gruffalo crumble to enjoy!
Let's get creative and fill the forest with lots of Gruffalo faces made with clay to surprise the Gruffalo and then use different tools to make your very own woodland owl to take home.
There will be time to play and explore the forest, swing in the hammock, practise your balancing skills on our giant woodland balance beam and have a go on the swing.
Squash will be available for the children throughout the morning, with tea and coffee for the adults.
