The fun to be had...!
Percy the park keeper loves to spend time with his animal friends, even though his work in the park keeps him very busy. The animals often need Percy's help, and he is always there to lend a hand....
There will be lots of fun to be had at our Percy The Park Keeper themed woodland session to keep children and adults entertained....We'll be finding out about some of Percy's friends who live with him in his park, we will search around the forest to find where the Badgers live. Did you know squirrels live in a nest called a drey, high up in the forks of tree, if we look hard we may even see one. Lets have a go at making some of our own animal nests and houses out of twigs and leaves too.
Make a bird feeder to take home and hang in a branch or a feeding station in your garden, made out of cones and seeds the birds love them...yum...yum.... Get crafting and turn yourself into your favourite Percy animal character by decorating your own animal face mask, will you be a fox, an owl or maybe even a badger?
Together we will saw a slice of wood, then drill a hole in the to to decorate into your very own Percy woodland medal to where with pride.
If that isn't enough.......
Some time exploring and playing in the woods, relax in the hammock or have a go on the rope swing or maybe build a den together.
Of course our Percy The Park Keeper woodland session would not be complete without enjoying some hot chocolate with marshmallows toasted over the fire and not forgetting some Percy The Park Keeper storytime too.
