Applefield Smallholding, Chalk Lane, Chichester, West Sussex, P020 7LW
A parent and child morning for children aged 18m to 7 years old. Under 18m attend for free.
The fun to be had...!
We invite little witches, wondrous wizards, spooky ghosts and rickety skeletons aged 18m - 7 years to join in our spooky and fun morning or afternoon session of Halloween themed activities and crafts.
We have lots of craft activities to keep all the family entertained, such as a conker worm and spider, your very own magic wand to decorate, plus a no carve nature pumpkin with pine cones, leaves, twigs, seeds and nuts to create, a perfect family activity to enjoy and to take home too.
We'll also spend some time visiting the farm animals that live at Applefield and playing in the wooded area, where you will find a swing and hammock to play in and the mud kitchen to create some potions and mud pies. We'll finish the session around the camp fire enjoying some hot chocolate and ghostly marshmallows toasted over the fire.
£14.00 per child, includes a no-carve decorated pumpkin to take home, other craft items made, a hot chocolate or squash and snack.
Who are running the sessions and what are your ratio's?
We run our sessions to a high adult to child ratio, normally 1:5 ratio and will be run by a first aid certified forest school level 3 trained leader, plus our regular volunteers. All our volunteers and forest school leaders hold current and relevant DBS certificates. These can be produced on request.
Where is Applefield Smallholding?
Applefield smallholding is a privately owned smallholding in Chalk Lane, Sidlesham. Detailed directions to the site will be emailed to all attendees the day before the session.
What are the facilities?
We have use of a composting toilet, running water and hand washing facilities. There is parking along the road or within the farmyard.
My child has food allergies
