(For private party bookings\, please contact us to arrange woodlandwondersforestschool@gmail.com) \nOur popular traditional wreath making workshops are designed for the complete novice and also those who have some experience. You will spend a relaxed 2.5 hours learning how to make your very own traditional Christmas wreath to adorn your door. Using a selection of different types of foliage to create your wreath and a variety of different embellishments to decorate it to your desired taste. Advise will also be given on how to look after your wreath once at home to keep it looking in perfect condition throughout the festive period. \nThere will also be complementary snacks\, mulled wine or spiced apple juice to enjoy throughout the session and help to get us all in the Christmas spirit. Places on our wreath making workshops are limited to ensure there is enough time to spend assisting and guiding people through the process and to create their perfect wreath. \nAbout our wreaths…. \nOur wreaths are made on pre-made moss rings and are created from traditional natural foraged materials such as Holly\, Ivy\, Conifer\, Pittosporum etc\, decorated with dried fruits\, cones\, berries\, dried teasels and poppy heads etc and finished with a choice of fabric ribbons. \nPrice: £40.00. price includes all materials to make your wreath\, mulled wine or spiced apple juice and nibbles. \nPrivate Wreath Making Parties: We can run private wreath workshops for group of between 10 and 14 people. For groups of friends\, Christmas work parties\, family get togethers and organisations. Parties can either be at our site or in at your chosen place. SUMMARY:Christmas At The Farm Holiday Sessions\, 5-11yrs (FREE HAF PLACES Available)
DESCRIPTION:Date: Monday 18th to Thursday 21st December\, 9- 1pm \nAge range: For children aged 5 to 11 years. Please note that this is a drop off session. \nWhat to expect… Join us at our farm and forest school session\, with lots of different fun and engaging activities and experiences to do at every session. We also have the use of an indoor and covered areas around the farm to use in cold and wet weather. \n\nExplore the farm and get up close to and feed some of our farm animals\, including Rosemary and Angela the donkeys and the very hungry goats!\nVenture to our wooded area where we have the nest swing\, hammock and mud kitchen to enjoy and also the woodworking area to make Christmas themed items to take home.\nAround the fire circle you can practice or learn some fire lighting skills\, cook a campfire treat such as marshmallows\, S’mores\, damper bread or pastries on sticks over our campfire.\nNatural crafts such as Christmas decorations and keep sakes.\nLearn about healthy eating and help prepare the food for lunch which we will cook over our fire.\nPlaying team games\nAnd lot of lots of fun memories to make!\n\nPrice: £28.00 per child\, includes a hot lunch freshly prepared over the fire\, all the woodcrafts and novelty craft items made to take home\, hot chocolate or squash\, and snack cooking activity. \nFree HAF FSM places: Funded by the WSCC Holidays and Activities Grant there are a number of places available for eligible free school meal children to attend for free. With different activities throughout the week there is something new to do and learn everyday.
