Children under 18 months are free to attend with a paying sibling. \nWhat To Expect: Little Wonders farm adventures is a parent and child group introducing your child to nature and outdoor learning through play. Your child will experience life on a smallholding\, meet and greet the animals\, explore the farm and experience some forest school activities. \nWe love creating at Little Wonders and each week there will be a new creation to take home and treasure. We use a variety of natural foraged items and crafting materials to make imaginative seasonal creations\, learn how to saw wood\, use palm drills to make holes in wood and some fire lighting too. There will also be opportunities to go on a mini bug hunt\, relax in the hammock\, have a go on our nest swing\, play in the mud kitchen and explore. \nEach week we have a camp fire and one of the favourite things the children like to do is toasting marshmallows or another snack cooking activity that we occasionally do. We’ve designed some fun activities perfect for dads and male carers to enjoy with their children. At Dangerous Dads our aim is to provide an opportunity for our families to spend some quality time together and make some fun and long lasting memories together\, and hopefully learn a new skill too. \nOur mornings are relaxed and informal\, and children can participate in the activities that they choose. DESCRIPTION:Dates and Time: 10-11.30am \n\nThursday 30th March\n\nAge range: Children 18 months and 5 years. Children under 18 months are free to attend with a paying sibling. \nThe Fun To Be Had at Wildlings…. Wildlings is a forest school parent and child group that offers opportunities for your child to learn\, play and explore our Wild Space environment in a relaxed\, safe and holistic manner. Our forest school sessions are designed with nature connection at its core that enables our learners to nurture a life-long love and understanding of the natural world. \nOtto the therapy dog will be supporting the sessions and is looking forward to making new little hooman friends and helping the children settle in. He says his favourite things are playing\, exploring and eating snacks\, preferably not his own! \nOur sessions will be inspired by the seasons and the children who attend\, and will be different every week. Below are some examples of the activities and benefits we will offer over the term. \n\nCrafts activities using natural resources that inspire creativity\nTool use\, such as sawing\, drilling\, whittling and chopping that develop fine and gross motor skills\nGreen woodworking\nFire lighting using a flint and steel and making the campfire\nCampfire snack cooking\, such as marshmallows\, pastries and bread.\nLearning about nature\, bug hunting and the animals that live and visit our environment\nMud kitchen\, swing and hammock\nInteracting with new people and building new friendships\nPositive and cherished life-long memories made between the child and their parent or care giver.\n\nSessions are run by a level 3 forest school leader\, forest school assistant.
