(For private party bookings\, please contact us to arrange woodlandwondersforestschool@gmail.com) \nOur popular traditional wreath making workshops are designed for the complete novice and also those who have some experience. You will spend a relaxed 2.5 hours learning how to make your very own traditional Christmas wreath to adorn your door. Using a selection of different types of foliage to create your wreath and a variety of different embellishments to decorate it to your desired taste. Advise will also be given on how to look after your wreath once at home to keep it looking in perfect condition throughout the festive period. \nThere will also be complementary snacks\, mulled wine or spiced apple juice to enjoy throughout the session and help to get us all in the Christmas spirit. Places on our wreath making workshops are limited to ensure there is enough time to spend assisting and guiding people through the process and to create their perfect wreath. \nAbout our wreaths…. \nOur wreaths are made on pre-made moss rings and are created from traditional natural foraged materials such as Holly\, Ivy\, Conifer\, Pittosporum etc\, decorated with dried fruits\, cones\, berries\, dried teasels and poppy heads etc and finished with a choice of fabric ribbons. \nPrice: £40.00. price includes all materials to make your wreath\, mulled wine or spiced apple juice and nibbles. \nPrivate Wreath Making Parties: We can run private wreath workshops for group of between 10 and 14 people. For groups of friends\, Christmas work parties\, family get togethers and organisations. Parties can either be at our site or in at your chosen place. Please contact us for details. \nWhat to bring with you? Please bring with you a fairly well fitting pair of gardening gloves or thick marigolds\, if your gloves are too big it can be hard to feel your way around your moss ring. Holly is prickly so gloves are an essential item to bring. Please also bring a pair of secateurs that you are familiar with using\, everything else you will need to create your wreath will be supplied for you. \nA Little About Your Wreath Tutor! I have been making and teaching people of all abilities to make traditional Christmas wreaths for about 14 years. Wreath making is a fun and festive activity and I thought everyone should be given the opportunity to learn to make their own wreaths and open to all who wish to have a go!! \nFacilities: \n\nFree parking is available\nToilets are also available on site.\nThis workshop will be run in the communal greenhouse.\n\nPlease contact me with any questions\, we hope to see you there. woodlandwondersforestschool@gmail.co.uk \nGeneral cancellation and refund policy: Unfortunately we are unable to give refunds if you are unable to attend\, but will happily make and deliver a Christmas wreath to your house local to Chichester or for collection.

Children will also receive a freshly prepared and cooked lunch at every session. SUMMARY:The Gruffalo Parent & Child Summer Session (18m-8yrs)
DESCRIPTION:Location: Sussex Orchards\, Fontwell\, Chichester \nAge range: Parent/carer and child morning for ages 18m to 8 years. Parents and siblings aged under 18 months attend for free. \nThe fun to be had….? \n“A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood”…… come with us on an adventure and discover the Gruffalo trail through the woods\, find where the fox\, owl\, snake and mouse live! \n“You’ll taste good on a slice of bread” said the Gruffalo…..Gruffalo tails taste good too! We’ll use tools to whittle sticks and cook curly pastry tails over the fire to enjoy with home-made jam or our local honey…yum…yum \nLet’s get creative and fill the forest with lots of tree Gruffalo faces made with clay\, twigs\, cones and leaves or you may want to make your favourite Gruffalo character to take home. \nHave a go at sawing a wooden disc to decorate with your favourite Gruffalo character and make into your very own woodland necklace. \nIf that’s not enough… \nThen why not…. \nSpend some time playing and exploring our woodland site\, swing in the hammock\, practise your balancing skills on our giant woodland balance beam and have a go on the swing. \nWe’ll finish our session enjoying some marshmallows toasted over the fire before its time to go home. \nPrice: Child tickets £14.00 includes all craft items and cooking activities.
