DESCRIPTION:Dates: Six week term\, from the Wed 13th Sept until Wed 18th Oct inclusive\, for 2 hours between 9.30am – 11.30am. \nAge range: Children 18 months and over. Children under 18 months are free to attend with a paying sibling. \nWhat To Expect: Little Wonders farm adventures is a parent and child group introducing your child to nature and outdoor learning through play. Your child will experience life on a smallholding\, meet and greet the animals\, explore the farm and experience some forest school activities. \nWe love creating at Little Wonders and each week there will be a new creation to take home and treasure. We use a variety of natural foraged items and crafting materials to make imaginative seasonal creations\, learn how to saw wood\, use palm drills to make holes in wood and some fire lighting too. There will also be opportunities to go on a mini bug hunt\, relax in the hammock\, have a go on our nest swing\, play in the mud kitchen and explore. \nEach week we have a camp fire and one of the favourite things the children like to do is toasting marshmallows or another snack cooking activity that we occasionally do. Not forgetting to make sometime for playing with new friends and exploring this lovely setting too. Little Wonders Farm Adventures is a great opportunity for spending some quality time with your child in a relaxing\, natural and safe environment. \nPrice: Block booking all 6 sessions discounted price £54.00 for first child and £45.00 for siblings \nOne off sessions are £14.00 per child. Parents and siblings aged under 18 months attend for free. \nThe fun to be had….? \n“A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood”…… come with us on an adventure and discover the Gruffalo trail through the woods\, find where the fox\, owl\, snake and mouse live! \n“You’ll taste good on a slice of bread” said the Gruffalo…..Gruffalo tails taste good too! We’ll use tools to whittle sticks and cook curly pastry tails over the fire to enjoy with home-made jam or our local honey…yum…yum \nLet’s get creative and fill the forest with lots of tree Gruffalo faces made with clay\, twigs\, cones and leaves or you may want to make your favourite Gruffalo character to take home. \nHave a go at sawing a wooden disc to decorate with your favourite Gruffalo character and make into your very own woodland necklace. \nIf that’s not enough… \nThen why not…. \nSpend some time playing and exploring our woodland site\, swing in the hammock\, practise your balancing skills on our giant woodland balance beam and have a go on the swing. \nWe’ll finish our session enjoying some marshmallows toasted over the fire before its time to go home. \nPrice: Child tickets £14.00 includes all craft items and cooking activities. DESCRIPTION:Age range: Parent/carer and child morning for ages 18m to 8 years. Parents and siblings aged under 18 months attend for free. \nThe fun to be had….? \nThere are lots of fun activities to do at The Very Hungry Caterpillar session with your grown ups. You can make a paper pot and sow a seed to take home and grow into a plant that the very hungry caterpillar and her friends would love to munch through\, make a bead butterfly to play with and take home with you. Saw a piece of wood and thread things together to make your own very hungry caterpillar character and make a very hungry caterpillar crown! \nThe Very Hungry Caterpillar favourite thing to do is eating lots of different fruit and for our snack we will have lots of delicious fruit to make into fruit kebabs to munch through too. \nThere will also be time to explore the farm\, meet and greet some of the animals that live there\, play in our wooded area where you will find the swing\, hammock and mud kitchen.
