DESCRIPTION:Beat the Boredom – Wild Beach Summer holiday sessions! \nFunded by the WSCC Holidays and Activities Grant we are offering a FREE holiday club for children who are eligible for income assessed free school meals. Children will also receive a freshly prepared and cooked lunch at every session. \nWe also have a very limited number of paid for places for children who are not eligible to receive free school meals. \nBooking instructions: Places are limited and booking is essential \n\nIndividual days booking link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/369869067337\nFull week of activities: Please use the following booking link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/369910410997\n\nThe fun at wild beach!: \n\nScavenger hunts and identifying life on our coastline\nPaddling as part of an activity\nEnvironmental awareness and conservation\nLearning through discovery\, exploration and playing\nThe tides and moon!\nFun and interactive games and activities\nWild science and problem solving challenges\nTeam games and challenges\nStory telling\nMapping\, tracking and trailing\nWild art and natural crafts\nHow to stay safe on the beach\nBe involved in lunch preparation and learn about healthy food and healthy eating\nFun and engaging age appropriate activities\nAnd anything else we can think of!!!\n\nPlus a foot ferry trip to pick up point from West to East beach across the river Arun. \nEngaging young minds in a fun and enriching way through a variety of different wild beach learning activities at each session. \nDates and location: Beat the boredom-Wild Beach will be held at West Beach\, Littlehampton\, BN17 5LH. We will have use of the visitors centre and toilets and will be using a designated area of the beach. Dates are Monday 25th to Thursday 28th August\, 9-2pm. and Monday 8th – Thursday 11th August\, 9-2pm \nPrice: \nFunded places: Free for children in receipt of income assessed free school meals. \nPaid for places: £28.00 for the sessions includes lunch and foot ferry crossing at pick up. \nFree places eligibility criteria: \n\nChildren should be in receipt of income assessed free school meals\nBe aged between 5 and 11yrs old\nLive within West Sussex area or attend a school in West Sussex
