Wheely Wonders Wellbeing Day

Wheely Wonders Wellbeing Day

12 September 2021
A wellbeing day for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families.

Who is this day for?

These sessions are specifically designed for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, physically disabled children and young people, their siblings, parents and carers, set at Applefield, a beautiful, intimate and private smallholding in Sidlesham, near Selsey.

The fun to be had!..

We are going to focus our day on Wellbeing as we think that Applefield is a very therapeutic and relaxing place to be and would love you to join us at Wheely Wonders Wellbeing family day. We will spend some time meeting and greeting the animals. Feeding Rosemary the donkey and Jigsaw and Puzzle the goats. There will also be some forest school activities such as sawing or whittling sticks. Fire lighting and a campfire to toast marshmallows over. In our wooded area you will find the mud kitchen, bug hunting, the swing and hammock too.

Please bring your picnics to enjoy a socially distancing lunch.

The afternoon will be spent at Lizzie’s Craft Club, making and creating some lovely crafts to take home to remind you of your time at Applefield.

Our day wouldn’t be complete without some relaxation time to spend chatting to other families and most importantly making some life long memories and well deserved quality time with your children.

Places are fully funded by Wellspring West Sussex. Please book your free tickets for all children and adults that are attending, please include any other information that you would like us to know.
